This prosthesis is a step towards a new cyborg-friendly society. The handicap is not hidden in form of a simulated arm, but transfered into a tool with more an more possibilities.
The maneuvering of the arm is done via myoelectric sensoring. the controlling of the tools is achieved with gestures, combined with the display located at the ‘forearm’ for fine tuning.
Not only the newest wireless technologies are included, but also handy tools like a camera, flashlight, screw driver, phone, bottle opener(!) and an usb-stick for data exchange.
