Therese SchillingerAlumnivita
Born on 11th of November 1978 in Vienna, Austria.
After graduating from the Higher Technical School for Interior Design and Furniture in Mödling, she started her studies for Industrial Design at the FH Joanneum, Graz. In 2002 she shifted to Vienna and completed her studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, department Industrial Design, under the professorship of Borek Sipek, Ross Lovegrove, Hartmut Esslinger.

Thomas SchieferAlumnivita
My childhood I have experienced on my parents farm in Lower Austria at the foothills of the Alps. Design and more encouraged places began to interest me, so the next step was to apply to the HTBLuVA Mödling for interior design.
After civilian service at Red Cross I started in a shop designing and selling tiled stoves. Some jobs that followed helped me to gain more working experience, e.g. in an interior office and as a webdesigner.
2002 I took up to study industrial design under the professorship of Borek Sipek at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna. Other Professors who ran the class during my studies were Ross Lovegrove and Hartmut Esslinger.

Barbara MozdyniewiczAlumnivita
Born in Cracow/ Poland in 1984 and moved to Upper Austria with family in 1993.
In 2003 finished a technical school for Interior Design and Woodtechnology in Hallstatt, Upper Austria and worked for the designer Hannes Rohringer afterwards.
Later, moved to Vienna and studied Translations (Polish, English) at the Vienna University and Media Art at the University of Applied Arts, before switching to Industrial Design in 2005.
Visited the Class for Graphic Design at the University of Applied Arts in the summer term of 2008.
Interships and jobs for design offices, carpentries and building companies.

Georg KraussAlumnivita
Born on the 9th of March 1983 in Salzburg, Austria. In 2001 finished High School with emphasis on modern-languages in Salzburg. From 2001 – 2002 trained to a paramedic in the Austrian Army. In September 2002 moved to Vienna and began my studies of Industrial Design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In January of 2008 earned Major in Industrial Design.

The approach was to bring life in a piano, even if you don´t play with it. As a tamagotchi, you have to take care of - play it regularly so that it stays happy and rewards you with wonderful sound pieces. Through the editable touchscreen your piano communicates with the you.
The tamagotchi offers programms for learning through play - like finger exercises, interactive music sheets and quintus the note-juming kangaroo character. As an advanced player you can use the download-library to get the notes of your favourite musicians and the piano would learn them with you. The touchscreen can be intalled on every piano from Boesendorfer.
