ciCa - City Canoe
Canoe sharing system for cities with water infrastructure
Cities like Venice or Amsterdam serve as tourist attraction. Venice is visited by 19million tourists a year. This causes several problems, since the city infrastructure is not able to absorb such amount of people. Using public transport based on gas engines is a real environmental thread, polluting water, air and causing disturbing noise. Huge waves damage the walls of houses, palazzis and other historical buildings. The lagoon disappears.
My solution to this problem is ciCa - public transport system. Electrical engines are ecological, reducing pollution and noise. The shape of the boat hull together with the wings is designed to eliminate waves and allows to transport 4 people at once. Except for that, keeps the boat stable and reliable. Sharing system is flexible and independent and therefore suitable for tourists. This system model could also be used in other cities like Amsterdam, Suzhou.
