Friday, 04 July 2008 The “Digital Football Pitch” will help to avoid crucial problems of the referees’ decision-making in professional football (soccer) played by FIFA rules. Published in time for the UEFA Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland, it quickly gained international media attention, which was additionally raised by very controversial calls by some referees during the championship tournament.

Esslinger talks about the future of design within a globalised economy and the designer´s responsibility to fight for a more sustainable, human centered society. |

Monday, 05 May 2008 Creation Center Opening at T-Mobile Headquarters Berlin. On thursday April 24th T-Mobile celebrated the opening of its Creation Center in Berlin. 99 ideas were presented in an interactive manner, converging the digital and the analog. |

This highly sucessful brand is starting to become as big in Europe as they are in the USA. An exciting lecture about design, marketing and brand communication. We love the videos and "Click - Clack" is our favourite. |

Monday, 21 April 2008 A delegacy of ID2 went to Kyoto to participate in the Cumulus Conference. The meeting coincided with "Sakura", the cherry blossoming. In Japan, this event stands for the advent of spring and a new beginning. A fitting symbol for the signing of the "Kyoto Design Declaration" by the members of Cumulus. |

Sunday, 20 April 2008 An insight into one of the world´s biggest mobile network operators was given to us by Dr. Raimund Schmolze. The opening of the Creation Center in Berlin proves, that the future of telecommunication carriers will to a great extend be determined by creativity. Tuesday, 06 November 2007 Austria´s National Design Award - the „Adolf Loos Staatspreis Design“ -was celebrated in October 2007. The student´s category „DysonInnovation Award“ was won by id2-student Talia Elena Radford Cryns. Her project „Ergoskin“ won her € 3.000,- and a Dyson vacuum cleaner. |
